隨意網路之不同媒介存取控制頻道模式之吞吐量分析
Abstract
隨意網路(Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, MANETs)在近年來已吸引很多的注意,這是因為隨意網路具有可快速建立且不需要有線基礎架構的特性。目前在隨意網路上的相關研究大多集中在繞送通訊協定。但是隨著多媒體通訊的應用普及,隨意網路上便需要提供具有服務品質的繞送通訊協定。目前具有服務品質保證的繞送通訊協定大多是集中在頻寬及延遲這兩個服務品質衡量單位,然而吞吐量也是一個重要的服務品質衡量單位。為了評估路徑的吞吐量,我們在本論文中設計一個pipeline model來追蹤封包的傳送過程,並推導在五種不同媒介存取控制頻道模式下的吞吐量計算公式。這些公式將可做為具有服務品質保證之繞送通訊協定在選擇路徑時的依據及參考。The Mobile Ad Hoc Network (MANET) has received a lot of attention recently, mainly because it can be quickly established without a wired infrastructure. Currently, most of the related researches in MANETs are focused on routing protocols. In addition, with the advancement of multimedia communications, the need of QoS routing protocols is on the increase. At present existing QoS routing protocols are mainly concerned with bandwidth and delay. However, throughput is also an important QoS metric. To evaluate the throughput of a path, in this paper we will design a pipeline model to analyze the packet delivery process for five diflw1 MAC channel models in MANETs. Consequently, several throughput calculation formulas are obtained, which QoS routing protocols can use as one of the criteria of route selection under different MAC channel models.
