Abstract


This article will provide an analysis of the technical safeguards in current privacy and personal data protection regulations regarding cybersecurity. In particular, this article will focus on specific legislation from the United States (US) and the European Union (EU), including US federal laws and the EU Commission rules related to privacy and personal data protection in cybersecurity matters.
