Abstract

For ten years since 2001, the government has actively promoted the incorporation of information technology in the national education of middle and primary schools. With the promotion of technology, students in middle and primary schools are able to use information technology. By reviewing the higher education and study carefully the intersection of college course and department, information technology should be incorporated into university education. It is important for lecturers and professors to incorporate information technology in their teaching. The purpose of this research is to probe the acceptance of university students toward teaching of mechanical engineering with 3DVR learning system. Subsequently, 54 students from a university in South Taiwan participated in the teaching experiment for seven to eight weeks. At the end of the experiment, investigation was implemented and statistical data were collected through self-report inventory. Levene test, t-test, and ANOVA test was conducted. This research obtains three conclusions and suggestions which can be provided as reference for educators.
