Abstract

By analyzing the causes of security problems in mobile agent systems and taking off the restriction of ”absolute security”, an idea of ”enough security” with respect to the practical applications is proposed and a security frame model to protect both the mobile agent and the host is given. Meanwhile, a solution to evaluate the security properties in the mobile agent systems is discussed. This work intends to push the MAS frame widely to absorb a variety of good security technologies, balance system security cost, complexity and efficiency, and adapt the system to the related criterions. These researches are crucial for the practical applications of mobile agent system.
