Design an Interface between Object and Relational Databases Using Client-Server Environment
Abstract
Object-Relational database system is an emerging technology combining both object-oriented and relational database concepts. In this paper, a relational database system (MySQL) is installed in the server, and an interface system that can fully support object functions of SQL3 is developed in the client. Hence, object-relational databases can be readily implemented on a client-server environment.
