BlueDart: Radiation Data Collection and Warning System
Abstract
This paper describes the BlueDart product and design. BlueDart is a system for collecting data regarding EMR radiation emitted by a mobile phone. Also, BlueDart warns the user if instantaneous radiation emitted by the phone goes beyond the level prescribed by the United States Federal Communications Commission (USFCC). Regular checking will provide reassurance that the level of radiation has not increased through component failure, accidental damage or any other reason. BlueDart can also be used to test the effectiveness of so-called ”shields” or other safety devices that are currently available in the marker.
