Abstract


With advance in mobile and wireless networks, a variety of services and applications have been developed and grew explosively. Hence, there exist a large number of challenges to the essential infrastructure for current and emerging user services, which provide lots of opportunities for research and innovation to both the academia and industry, especially for development of efficiency, scalability and reliability in mobile and wireless networks. The goal of this special issue is to present advances towards design and development of new protocols, architectures and services for future mobile and wireless networks.
