Special Issue: Selected papers from “2018 International Conference on Innovation, Communication and Engineering (ICICE 2018)”

THEME

Engineering and Design Innovations are both academic and practical engineering fields that involve systematic technological materialization through scientific principles and engineering designs. Technological innovation by Electrical/Mechanical Engineering includes Information Technology (IT)-based Intelligent Electrical/Mechanical Systems, Electronics, Mechanics, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Design Innovations. IT-based Intelligent Systems, which implant intelligence to systems, is an interdisciplinary area combining conventional electrical/mechanical technology and new information technology.

The main goal of this special collection is to publish selected papers from “2018 International Conference on Innovation, Communication and Engineering (ICICE 2018)”. The ultimate aim is to discover new scientific knowledge relevant to IT-based Intelligent Electrical/Mechanical Systems, Mechanics, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) and Design Innovations. We invite investigators interested in systems design innovations to contribute their original research articles to this special collection.

The potential topics include (but are not limited to):

• Multimedia systems
• Network Operating System (NOS)
• Smart electromechanical system analysis and design
• Computer-aided methods for mechanical design procedure and manufacture.
• Internet Technology on mechanical system innovation.
• Various computational topics of methodologies and procedures of design.
• Machine diagnostics & reliability

• Smart Sensors, actuators, and materials
• Intelligent mechanical manufacturing system

• Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).

• Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality

• Cross-Cultural Design

• Social Computing and Social Media

• Design, User Experience and Usability
